Wildlife Mississippi Helps St. Vincent DePaul Feed Hungry Deltans Stoneville, MS - Over 750 can goods were recently donated to St. Vincent DePaul, a Delta-based food bank located at 635 Washington Avenue in Greenville, by the Mississippi Fish and Wildlife Foundation, or Wildlife Mississippi as it is commonly called.
The donation was due to the efforts of the Foundation's program entitled "Hunt Against Hunger". It is a cooperative effort between Wildlife Mississippi and hunters and anglers in Mississippi. The can goods were collected at the Mississippi Fish and Wildlife Expo.
The Foundation encourages hunters and anglers to donate any surplus game meat and can goods to soup kitchens and food banks in their communities.
